Every item carries our grade. Confirmed means independent outlets agree. Reported means one source so far. Disputed means the accounts conflict. And alleged is one side's claim.

Now the details.
Albania. Today: Clashes broke out in central Tirana on Saturday, November seventh, outside the Ministry of Education during a student demonstration, Albanian Daily News reported. Opposition supporters, including Democratic Party backers, had marched from the Prime Minister's Office to join it, and physical clashes broke out between student supporters and Democratic Party supporters. Our grade: reported. Albanian Daily News and Bloomberg have it, but we can't yet count them as independent confirmation. Also today: Clashes broke out outside Prime Minister Edi Rama's office in Tirana on November seventh, with police using water cannons and tear gas, and protesters throwing fireworks and stones and, the Albanian Daily News says, Molotov cocktails, the paper reports. We grade that reported: so far only Albanian Daily News has it, and we're waiting for independent confirmation.
France. Today: The fourth day of action went ahead on Saturday, November seventh, with about 90 mobilisations across France, Sud Radio reported. Organisers planned to gather at Place de la Concorde in Paris despite a police prefecture ban, and about 70,000 police and gendarmes had been deployed. Our grade: reported. Sud Radio and ICI have it, but we can't yet count them as independent confirmation. Also today: The gilets jaunes coordination called an acte IV for Saturday, November seventh, listing about 51 actions across France, including Paris at 14:00 at Place de la Concorde, which depends on the police prefecture's decision, C'est la greve reports. We grade that reported: so far only C'est la greve has it, and we're waiting for independent confirmation. Coming up: Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu will hold a social conference on wages and purchasing power with unions and employers at Matignon on Monday.
India. Today: The Cockroach Janta Party called a protest at Rajendra Maidan in Kochi on Saturday, demanding withdrawal of the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls, The Week reports. It is the party's first major protest since its co-convenors were arrested at Jantar Mantar, and how the protest went had not been reported. Our grade: reported. It rests on one source, The Week, and isn't yet confirmed by a second. Coming up: The Special Executive Magistrate hearing for the CJP leaders summoned over the Jantar Mantar protest listed for the third week of November.
Canada. On Thursday, November fifth: CBC News reports that the 2026 federal budget released on November 5, 2026 lists the proposed Pacific Link pipeline among a series of “nation‑building” projects based in British Columbia overseen by the Major Projects Office. The budget also earmarks spending for other British Columbia initiatives, including a tunnel replacement, flood‑mitigation and forestry projects. We grade that reported: one source so far, not yet independently confirmed. Coming up: Whether binding Pathways carbon-storage agreements are signed by the November fifteenth target, the federal response to the First Nations court challenges.
Serbia. On Thursday, November fifth: Serbia's Republic Electoral Commission announced final results of the October twenty-fifth parliamentary election on November fifth: the Student List won 140 of 250 seats, President Vučić's list 103, and minority lists seven, with turnout about 68.8%, Xinhua reports. The outgoing speaker must convene the new parliament within 30 days, and a prime minister nominee needs a majority to form a government. Our grade: reported. It rests on one source, Xinhua, and isn't yet confirmed by a second. Coming up: Formation of the new government and the choice of prime minister, the outcome of the Kričak detention.
Also on our watch, with no new developments in recent days.
Italy. The latest report, from Wednesday, November fourth: The national coordinator of the Rete degli Studenti Medi school-student network tells la Repubblica that the government should invest more in schools, and that fewer staff would lower the quality of teaching. We grade that reported: so far only la Repubblica has it, and we're waiting for independent confirmation.
South Africa. The latest report, from Wednesday, November fourth: The South African Government said on X, on local-election day, that asylum seekers and refugees may not vote. That's the authority's own claim, from its official statement, and we grade it alleged until independent reporting backs it up.
Germany. The latest report, from Monday, November second: Germany's Education Minister Karin Prien calls the concerns of the young people who marched in more than 30 cities on October thirty-first "legitimate and extremely relevant" and promises more dialogue, and SPD politicians call for a national education summit. We grade that reported: so far only The Local Germany has it, and we're waiting for independent confirmation.
We'll bring you updates on those as soon as they become available.
